I loathed the iPad. I never owned an iPad, in fact never even saw one in my life; all my photography was done on a PC so I had no experience of the tablet. They even try to do away with the very feature that makes Picasa so versatile, the ability to upload images directly into Picasa.

The new software also brings a number of other benefits to the table. Performance is a little better on platforms such as macOS than in Windows, but it’s still faster than what you’d expect.
